What kind of research is required to create a painting? Are my kids artistic? What inspires me to paint and do I ever run out of inspiration? What have been my favorite bits of “helpful advice/suggestions” throughout the years. What is the hardest thing to paint and have I ever had to start over (and over…)? Can you give a small demonstration on how to sketch or use watercolors. These are a few of the many questions I have been asked through out the years. On April 4, 1865, President Abraham Lincoln came to see first hand the long sought after prize of the Civil War, the confederate capital Richmond Virginia.
