Do you ever wonder about stories behind the paintings? How long does it take to create a painting? Do I use real models and where do I find them. What kind of research is required to create a painting? Are my kids artistic? What inspires me to paint and do I ever run out of inspiration? What have been my favorite bits of “helpful advice/suggestions” throughout the years. What is the hardest thing to paint and have I ever had to start over (and over…)? Can you give a small demonstration on how to sketch or use watercolors. These are a few of the many questions I have been asked through out the years. We thoroughly enjoyed our first weekend of the Nathan Greene Art Studio Christmas Open House!! So many wonderful guests took time out of their day to visit the studio to see the new Creation Series Paintings, the Historical Loft filled with Civil War Paintings featuring Abraham Lincoln and interesting artifacts used in the paintings.
